Buggy ride

Hi all :)
How was your weekend? We had a great weekend...very full on but great!!
Saturday morning was club cricket then we headed off down to Goulburn to take the dune buggy for it's first run. OMG..how much fun was that? I had a better time than the kids I think!! I somehow managed to get lost and ended up on the other side of the property fence while driving Jye around. No idea how but it was funny. Jye was shitting himself thinking the owner of the adjoining property was going to come out with guns blazing, chasing us off the property..LOL
It really is a gorgeous property...about 300 acres apparently. Thats the first time I've ever been there. Michael and my brother in law have taken the kids camping there before a few times so the kids knew their way around.
Michael had a ball on the dune buggy but it shakes you up badly..LOL Would be an ideal way to get you moving if you were constipated!
Only thing is you'd have to drive 2 and a bit hours into the bush to go to the toilet!!
This is Jye and I having a go. Woo hoo!

We didn't end up getting home till after 10.00p.m on Saturday night. We then had Jyes last Reps. game on Sunday up at Penrith. On the way there I got an SMS from Bec saying the Boxx is back! I almost had heart failure knowing I'd have to wait all day to have a look.
When we got to the ground at Penrith some idiot had left the sprinklers on all night and the ground was flooded so we had to move to Jamison Park...right across the road from not one..but two scrap shops! Both of which I've wanted to visit FOREVER! I only managed to get to the Superstore 'cos thats where I spent all the money I had on me..LOL Wow..what a cool shop!
Will have to meet you up there on day Beth! If I had've known I was that close I would've let you know. Speaking of the lovely Beth..yes my dear..it was you I was talking about in my last post..LOL Awesome stuff!
It's so hot here at the moment but there is a storm brewing. Michael has just pulled up from work too.
Today I had to go up to the shop for a Volunteers morning tea put on by the teachers. It was nice but I usually don't attend those things. I don't believe in being thanked for giving my time. I do it 'cos I want to, not to be thanked. It was very nice though.
Tomorrow is my gorgeous boy Jedds' 12th birthday! I went up today to get his present off lay-by..we bought hm a Nintendo DS and a game to go with it. Bloody expensive kids!!
OK..thats it for me. I've really got to pull my finger out and start making my Secret Santa her home-made present. I'm not sure what I want to make yet.
Chat soon
