A 21st birthday and some scrapping...

Hey all :)
Hope you've been well and settled into the new month of May.
May is one of those months for us where it's just go, go, go...and spend, spend, spend!
We have Rhiannons', Jayden's, my, our niece, my father, Michael's little sister and her mums birthdays all in May. We have both cars due for rego one day apart and then there's Mothers Day. Plus all the boys friends seem to have a birthday in May as well. Grrrr......
Speaking of birthdays it's our gorgeous girl Rhiannons's 21st birthday today :)
We had a family party for her on Saturday night which was heaps of fun. She wanted a purple and silver theme so purple and silver it was. (Keep in mind...purple would have to be one of the hardest colours for a party theme...LOL)
I thought we managed to do OK though as we had purple and silver balloons, cutlery and plates, I made purple and silver topiary tree table decorations and 21st birthday balloon table decorations and instead of a 21st key I made a book that everyone cold sign and she can later put her photos in. I even made a trip to the cake decorating store and bought purple icing and silver dust to paint on the tiny flowers. Here'a s peek at the decorations. The topiary trees:

The balloons: (TIP: I bought a balloon pump for $5.50 at Spartys and let me tell you it made our lives so much easier!!)These are only the table decorations I made we had HEAPS of balloons hanging from the top of the decking.

The sign-in book:

The cupcakes:

The champers....mmmmmmmm

Our girl and us:

Just before getting organised for the 21st I was busy, busy, busy getting some layouts and BTP items done for the lovely Kris Pace of Paper Inklings for SIA. Her new FAMILY range is just gorgeous.
I posted one in my last blog post but here are a few more:

I also made a canvas featuring my three gorgeous nieces. Unfortunately the photo I took made the Mod Podge over the photos look like some sort of filter but I'm sure you get the drift.

Last but not least I made a sweet little banner for Michaels' cousins new baby girl, Layla.

Forever Always held it's very last cycber crop last weekend which is a bit sad as I've had some great times there over the years and met some of the most wonderful women ever.
This layout I did for a challenge using only sepia tones. Just a simple one.

This one was for a 'Good Old Days' challenge where we had to use those words as either the title or in the journalling. I used it as my title and scrapped photos of us all when we were on the FA DT together...they really were 'The Good Old Days'. (Sorry again for the flash on your face Paula but you know it's not there IRL...LOL)

Well that's it from me for now.
Off to do a blog hop to see what you've all been up too.
Stay safe
S
xx
