Hey :)
Have you ever come to a point in your life when you just have nothing else to give?
I don't mean family of course...just stuff.
For the past 12 years now I have enjoyed doing volunteer work in the community from a St Vinnies aid visiting homes to give food and financial support to school and sporting committees...but now I just want some 'me' time.
Is that selfish of me?
It's like I've set a precedence for myself.
But I'm getting tired again.
I don't want to get sick again.
Am I being selfish for not sharing my 'spare time'?

I don't think so.....you need to have some ME time, if you look after you first it will come back, you will have time to share again.
But first it's me time.
Speaking from experience....do it Sharryn...take your time to SHINE!!
definately not selfish at all Sharryn. Everyone needs to to put them selves first once in a while.

one word?? NO...sharryn, sometimes you have to put yourself first and if that means dropping all the volunteer work, then you do it! It's time girlfriend to get out there and have some 'me' time..do you hear me???
Hi Shaz,
Having FM myself I know exactly what your talking about. Its not just the physical tiredness but also the mental tiredness. If you know that you are in need of a break then do it!
Don't feel bad or guilty because you have done MORE than most people with the giving of your time.
{{{{hugs}}}} and you take care of yourself :0)
