Now This One Is DEFINITELY A Winner!!

Hi all,
Hope you had a relaxing weekend and are getting the kids all settled and back to school with minimum fuss :)
I don't know about you but I always find the transition from school holidays to back to school quite hard. I've always loved having my kids home and who doesn't love that 'no routine' kind of thing?

Remember I said I had some more scrappy 'secret squirrel business' to share?
Well here it is!
The lovely Tiff Sawyer from Scrap Sanity has started a wonderful blog brimming full of eye candy and creative inspiration.
The creative team is sensational and a bit of a star studded line-up on the red carpet (sshhh don't tell them I said that!) and I am honoured to be creating alongside these girls.

So...without further ado...introducing:
This One's A Winner

And here's my project I created to share.
Loved working with the Stuff 2 Scrap chipboard and creating lots of textures on this one.

So quick! Head on over and check out the eye candy the girls have created for you this month. Grab a cuppa first...you'll be there a while!

Some more challenges

Hey all,
Well this is the reason why I LOVE school holidays!
I get to scrap!!
And...I love nothing more than to scrap challenges :)

So...in the past week I've got through another 3 monthly challenges...all my favourite ones to do.

The first one I did was for Kraft It Up.
This months challenge was to use Kraft (of course) with the colours: red, blue, yellow and green.
I had this photo of Jack that we took at last years Sydney Royal Easter show that was just perfect!

Secondly, I got around to the Jan. White With 1 challenge...which is always one of my faves.
This month was white with lime green....one of my favourite colours ever :)

Thirdly, I had a go at the Scrap the Girls Jan. challenge which is simply to scrap a monochromatic page. Orange is one of my favourite colours so I scrapped this one of moi :)

So this month...lots of my favourite things to play with.
Hope you're getting through some January challenges.

Purple Pumpkin Jan. sketch challenge

Hi all,
Hope you've been getting some scrappy time in?
Due to the rain I've had a chance to sneak down my studio and get a couple of sketch challenges done for January.
This one is for Purple Pumpkins January challenge:

The photo is of my son and I last year at his Year 12 Graduation.
We were so proud of him that night.

Thats it for this post but I'll be sharing some more very soon.
Take Care

Daring You to Scrap

Hi all,
Hoping you all had a fabulous Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
We had a very quiet one this year which was absolutely perfect after the running around of the past few months.

Remember last post I told you about the new challenge blog run by Kayla?
Well I've just popped in to show my 1st challenge layout and to ask you again to pop over and take a look at all the yummy inspiration from the other DT girls and have a go yourself.

Our very first challenge was to create a page using paper scraps as a background. I loved this challenge and knew instantly I would make it grungy and use photos of my son that I've wanted to scrap for ages.

With some heavy distressing, lots of ink and a whole lot of boy embellishments the page turned out perfect for the photos.

Why not head over and take a look for yourself?
Link is on sidebar along with the talented DT's blogs :)
Stay safe,
Sharryn xx
