Today I'm going to...

* Wash my hair
* Do some housework
* Take the boys to the beach for a couple of hours
* Realise that although I can't change the way I feel, I can feel change

Not necessarily in that order.

Another week on...

Hi all,
So it's another week on and another week no wiser. I have learnt a few things though.
I've learnt that most doctors really have no feelings or brains.
I've re-lived the past 3 weeks all over again in one day, thanks to the incompetent assholes at CAMPBELLTOWN hospital.
I've cried a million more tears, been confused beyond confusion and had my heart ripped out all over again, thanks to the incompetent assholes at CAMPBELLTOWN hospital.
I've also learnt that I have an inner strength I never knew existed and that my curious nature and thirst for knowledge is a good thing to have, thanks to the incompetent assholes at CAMPBELLTOWN hospital.

So when I finally get my head around all this, which may not be today, tomorrow or next week I will use that inner strength I never knew I had and turn it into something positive.
Just so the next poor woman doesn't have to go through what I just did, thanks to the incompetent assholes at CAMPBELLTOWN hospital.

Stay safe

New beginnings

Hi all,
Hope everyone is relaxed and ready for the new year ahead.
I, for one, am glad to see the back of 2009 and have decided this is a year for new beginnings. I'm not really one for change and don't embrace it very easily however the last couple of months have changed a lot of things.

After the events of Christmas I wasn't going to go to Newcastle for the cricket tournament but I'm so glad I did. If anything it took the edge off the heartache.
Spending the last 6 days with some of the best 14yr old boys I know has been great. They really are a credit to their parents and a constant source of entertainment whether on or off the field. I just love the camaraderie of the team and how they encourage each other all the way. No stars, all players of the one team. Great kids.
I took these photos of Jye just after he took a wicket. Look at them all gathering around to congratulate him. I love it.

The team came fourth this year which was a great effort considering the weather was crap and against them most of the time.
These photos from Day 1 show how bad the weather had been. The game was supposed to start at 10.00a.m but they didn't get on till 12.30p.m and that was after one of the dads borrowed about 50 towels from the motel to literally sop up the water off the pitch.

Day 2 wasn't much better but the council guy was talked into going around the field on his ride on again and another of the dads scored a whipper snipper and blower from God knows where and the pitch was ready for play.

Thank you all so much for your messages of love, prayers and support whether it be via my blog, email, SMS, phone or any other way. You will never know how much your words meant to me or how comforting they were and I can't thank you all enough.

Today I will pack the Xmas tree and decorations away. It's a job I've always loathed but this time it will be a little healing ceremony. I'll be packing away 2009.
Have a great 2010 everyone.
